Ulrich Tukur will receive the 'Golden Ox' award at the 30th FILMKUNSTFEST Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2020, and the popular film and television actor will accept the award at the ceremony on 4/9/2020 in the state capital Schwerin.

His wife, the photographer ❯ KatharinaJohn , has accompanied his work for a quarter of a century. At the invitation of the Filmkunstfest MV, she is exhibiting photographs from this period in the Historical Customer Hall of the Sparkasse Schwerin.

As a 'splash of colour' for this exhibition, she would like to have a life-size band portrait with ❯ Ulrich Tukur und den Rhythmus Boys by Manfred W. Jürgens to accompany her black and white photographs.

The focus of John and Jürgens is the portrait - direct, demanding and disturbing.
